Hey everyone! Starting a thread for Boston College Direct Entry MSN for the Fall of 2018.

Nothing has changed on my portal and I didn't receive anything about updating the platform when I logged in... should I be concerned?

I didn't receive anything about the update, there's just a box at the top that says "Important update: Agora portal has changed to a new interface." If people are seeing different things, it probably doesn't mean anything too important

I can't see anything different but I'm also looking at the mobile version so who knows. That agora portal system update message makes me think that the changes people are seeing are probably not important

Oh whoops I do have it, I was just checking the wrong portal haha I was looking at the portal we applied on. I have all those new tabs (financial aid, enrollment deposit, etc.) but like everyone else nothing happens when I click on them besides an error message

I'm now able to view my application status and it's gone back to that same checklist that it was before. Financial aid and enrollment deposit are still the same (aka, no financial reward aids found and no accepted application found for them, respectively)

Same. I'm guessing they were setting the system up so it's ready for when they release decisions?

Yeah probably. Ugh I was so hoping this meant they were releasing decisions today! A similar thing happened with Emory where they changed the portal around and we got our decisions a few hours later. And people with new tabs were the ones who happened to get admitted and vice versa.

I would really try not to read too much into it. They could be updating it and it is taking time, especially since others reported it at different points. Also, regardless, we will all know by Friday for sure anyway!!

I checked on my phone I don't see any of those options am I missing something?

Are you viewing the portal we applied with or the actual BC portal? They would've emailed you the link to that plus your login after you submitted the application. The portal people are seeing all these tabs pop up on is the portal BC gave us access to after we submitted our applications
