Boston College Direct Entry 2018

Published

Hey everyone! Starting a thread for Boston College Direct Entry MSN for the Fall of 2018.

I did too!! Accepted for Women's Health!! I'm also curious about merit scholarships / financial aid.... I didn't have any mention of it in my letter either. It looks like we have to submit a Boston College financial aid application as well as the FAFSA (which I already sent)?

Oh my gosh congrats you guys!!! I still haven't heard anything yet. Applied for PNP.

Congrats to both of you!!!

Still waiting on updates on this end.

Maybe it's by specialty? When I talked to the director he said getting the acceptances out depended on other people turning stuff in or something so maybe today the specialty directors were handing in who they wanted accepted? At this point I'm just trying to hold onto any hope I can haha. Sending lots of love to all of you regardless!

Sounds like maybe only WHNP has heard so far. I applied for AGPC, and I'll just be over here, refreshing my email every 20 seconds...

Congrats!!! Maybe they're going by specialty then?

Congrats!! Which specialty?

Direct Entry WHNP! I just called and they said if you didn't have anything in your acceptance letter that you didn't receive any merit based aid. However, they said that at the end of each semester or year they see if they have any extra funds which they often do and give those out to current students with high GPAs/merit based or high need. When I was an undergrad at BC they did something similar. I think I got about $15000 of my loans paid off in this way over the course of 4 years.

^^^praying this is proof that only WHNP specialty applications got their decisions so far haha

Has anyone who applied for FNP noticed changes on their portal yet?
