Hi , Creating this thread for anyone applying for Spring 2021 at BMCC . I didn’t get in last round so will plan to sit the HESI in December hopefully . Not sure what my PCI is but I got A’s in everything except AP1 which I got a B in . Please share tips or info so we can help each other . I’m in my 40’s and I’ve young kids so this is definitely a career change for me !

Hi, one student dropped out early on. No one else dropped out and no one else is repeating as far as I know.  You basically score very low on 3 tests and still get a good final grade. You will see the grade breakdown in the syllabus. There are a few people repeating nursing 2, 3 and 4. You should  NEVER allow yourself to fall behind so make sure you read and do all your work.

No we do not take the HESI A2. Nobody dropped out in my group, I’m not sure if anyone failed or withdrew. I don’t think so.  You get a lot of chances to up your grade since there are 5 exams.

Hi everyone -

For those of you who already took the HESI A2: are all the sections included in the exam? Physics? Vocabulary? Grammar?  Biology? Etc. Or only specific sections? Thanks and good luck.

No, only math, reading, A&P and critical thinking.

Who knows it could change next semester but these are good places to start . Nurse Hub and Math dude were 2 sights I found helpful

LOL that was me. But I emailed the nursing dept, not the advisor herself.

I am wondering if anybody who is current nursing student at BMCC who already took NUR112 can share syllabus for NUR112 with me and if possible powerpoints? 

I am waiting for an email from nursing dpt. I am pretty sure I will get in.
