But then the nursing advisor told me she adds all 4 scores together, including C.T., and divides by 4.
So why isn't it included in the cumulative score when you finish the test then?
On the HESI sheet that she sent to us with the nursing application it says:
"The exam consist of 4 sections and the passing score is an overall cumulative score of 73%"
The cumulative is in all 4 sections which Critical thinking is one of the 4 sections, HESI scores on Critical thinking is based on 1000 and not 100 and that's why is not together with the overall score but if you got let's say 900 then add 90 to the other 3 sections and divide by 4 and you will have your overall on HESI.
When there is a tie between students the cumulative GPA may be use to determine who will get the seat.
That's basically what Yxxxxxx said on the email. Hope it helps to clarify who is in doubt about the critical thinking.

Thanks for clearing that up. So it's PCI+HESI combo first.... If two students have the same score in PCI+HESI then they go with the student with the highest cumulative GPA (im assuming cumulative as in overall? Not pci GPA?).
If anyone is unsure how to calculate their GPA on the PCI which is not the same GPA you will see on degree works or cuny first follow these steps from BMCC website.

That's what I understood. She may look into the overall GPA from all semesters the one we see in the degree works or cuny first.

Is it "by the 21st" we hear something or on the 21st?
The wait is too much ?
I know right! 21st is Monday and if she is going to do zoom meeting like she did in the Spring with the accepted applicants I would think that we would receive an invitation for the zoom before. Assuming we are in of course
Regarding the two day sections... After students are accepted into the day program, does anyone know at what point do they find out when which day section they will be in? (Morning/afternoon)...
Is it included with the acceptance notification? Im just a bit nervous about that part because I want to try and make schedule accomodations at work as far in advance as possible (if I have to).. Im really hoping to get into the early morning because I work 3pm to 11pm. If I get early morning section then All I would have to work around are the clinical days which would be no big issue.
I hope they don't tell us last minute.
