I turned in my application today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Omg...I am so scared. I know its early in the game but anyone else applying for fall Bon Secours for 09? I have been doing non nursing classes for 3 semesters and finally I am ready to apply. I wanted to go into NS with only nursing classes! Now the waiting game!!!!! I cant belive I am at this point allready. It felt like forever! Now if NS goes by this fast (if I get in). :yeah:

Any updates??

NO! I haven't heard anything yet. My nerves are about to get the best of me!

I keep checking Ati for my teas test results. I guess I will have to wait

until Monday. I'm anxious to hear about my application.

I thought ATI had the test results as soon as you finish the test? thats what happened for me, but I took the test at a different school and BSMSON accepted it because it was the same test with ATI. Good luck! I sent in my enrollment agreement, so now I am waiting on the next steps of a physical exam, fingerprinting, criminal background, etc. That is going to be a lot to do before September, lol.

Take care!

Hey! Congrats on your acceptance! There are a couple of other people I heard that got in, too. Ati said that the results delay a few days because it was on a scan

tron sheet. Bon Secours did not turn in the sheets yet. I'm sure it will be

on Monday. I turned in my application and all necessary documents on Tuesday.

I'm am so nervous and scared!! If I do well on the teas, I'm sure I'll get in. I have good

references and 3.7 gpa. Well, hope I see you in the fall! I'm hoping to get days! Jennamec

Are those of you who applied already done with non-nursing courses (a&p, math elective, sociology, micro, etc) are are you going to be taking them with your other classes WHEN :D you get in?

I have all my pre-reqs except for Bio 1 & 11, micro. I finished all the other courses. I plan

on taking two more humanities classes, one more math, some electives, and one more social

science. I need those in order to get into UVA's RN-BSN program. I hope I get into Bon Secours this

fall! I want this so bad! I am anxiously awaiting my acceptance letter! Just hope I did well on the teas.

Hoping for day classes, too. Well, hope to see you this fall! jennamec;)

I am taking a couple of classes this summer at JSRCC, but the rest of them I am gonna take as they line it up. I am just waiting for them to tell me what to do next . . . . which is a pain to do . . .

Ok, thanks! I have some classes that will (hopefully) transfer over from my BA, but I didn't need very many sciences for my major so I'll be taking those along with my nursing courses, and i was just wondering if other people planned on doing that as well. I agree with you Helen, I wish they'd let us know soon what the next step is. Have you already done the basic life support class?

I am actually already BLS certified because I am a Certified Nursing Assistant, but I do not have first aid and am unsure whether they want that too starting out or not. Soooooo, I guess they will let me know. But I am BLS certified through the American Heart Association until February 2010, as well as my CNA licensure, so I guess I will have to renew soon anyway, lol.

Still waiting for a letter! Anyone heard anything?

Hey Suziemommie, when you received your acceptance letter, was it in the form

of a letter or a packet? Do they mail you the physical forms? Jennamec

No, they sent me the "conditional acceptance" letter, and a few pages (enrollment agreement, I believe it was called) that I had to read and then either sign or initial the pages saying that I understand it. Once they get that processed then they start the fingerprinting, background checks, physicals, etc. Once you pass ALL of the stuff, then I guess you get granted the "actual acceptance".

Hope this helps . . . Take care ~
