Boise state online RN-BSN

Nursing Students Online Learning

Published

Hi everyone!

So I just got accepted into Boise States RN-BSN online program. I am a MD resident. Has anyone been thru Boise's program?! If so how was it?

And I know this is an odd question but going there for my BSN does anyone know if it will be recognized by other states Board of Nursing.. In my case Marylands.. I don't see why it wouldn't but I've been trying to get ahold of some one from MBON to make sure before I made any final decisions but they are impossible to get in touch with!

Thanks :)

Grizmama...I was just accepted into Boise State RN to BSN program. How were the classes setup? Primarily papers or were there exams as well? Just curious if I will need to find a test center etc. Also, any group projects?

A couple of tests that I took at home in the beginning but I think they did away with that and no tests now. Mostly papers and a few group projects.

Hey grizmama

I am also considering Boise's RN to BSN program - can you elaborate a little on the group projects. How many were there? Was it difficult to complete as a group being it is an online program?

Thanks in advance :-)

I'm going to be starting BSU RN to BSN program this summer and wanted to find out anyone else's experience with the program.

It seems to be a great fit for me so far and am looking forward to furthering my education. For any people alumni or currently in the program, what are your thoughts?

Thanks!

Daniel

Hello guys,

I am an out of state RN from NY. I am considering Boise State's program. However, I would like to know of online students get in state tuition? Thanks.

Hello everyone, I wonder how the program is thus far? And wow that tuition is a great price. I am based in New York City so I too will benefit from the tuition.

Is the course work easy, difficult? Are the professors level headed... would you recommend the program to others?

Thanks Guys!

I just finished my first 3 classes. Yes, out of state pays in state tuition... $330 per credit. I love it. Definitely challenging but doable. Papers, exams, group projects and power point presentations so far. Feeling like I made an excellent choice in programs!

Hi USA987! Looking at the date of your last post about BSU, I'd imagine you're probably done or close to being done with the program. Looking back, are you still glad you did the program? Are all of the classes the same (exams, group projects, etc)? What are the leadership and community projects, how and where do you do them, and how do you prove you did them? If there is anything else in general about their program that you could tell me (pros, cons, tips, etc), I'd love to know! Thank you in advance!
