Boces LPN-Northport NY- Any recent grads out there??

Hi I am new to the board but starting the LPN at Boces Northport NY, accelerated day program that begins in March. Looking for any recent grads to share how the program was/is.

Anyone that worked and managed to get thru the program?

How soon after can you take the boards?

How intense is the program, studying per night etc?

I am 35, went to college years ago, have a BS in Exercise Science, worked in caridac rehab and womens fitness for MANY YEARS!!

What time do you have registration on the 26th?? Is it 10a also??? How far are you from Northport??

hi kim, trained 3 clients today then went to see my moms, she lives in oceanside so a little hike. we got lunch then hung out for a few. just got home, have a client at 6 then i will workout, cook dinner, do laundry and wait for my man to get home:nuke:

Yes I have registration also at 10! Yes I got Everything. TB, Hep. Etc.. I'm like 40 minutes away no traffic

I live in East Islip so 30 min for me, no traffic but when does that ever happen on long island LOL

Do you know anyone in program??

Yes I work, I'm a Personal Banker @ Capital One :-) and no I don't know anyone in the program

I am a Personal Trainer LOL whats a personal banker?? will you continue to work during school???

Personal Bankers are the ones who sit at the desks in the Banks, and open new accounts, give financial advice, do investments, and etc. :-)

Remember everyone in the class has the same goal and there is always room at the top.

And what keeps me going is my little engine that could book I carry in my backpack every where I go.

It sounds like you are both very motivated. Which I think is the #1 key thing.
