Hi I am new to the board but starting the LPN at Boces Northport NY, accelerated day program that begins in March. Looking for any recent grads to share how the program was/is.
Anyone that worked and managed to get thru the program?
How soon after can you take the boards?
How intense is the program, studying per night etc?

I am ok, Mom was not feeling weel too her to the DR. she had an O2 sat of 89, she took a chest X-ray . Dr felt she had phnemonia- so we went to Stonybrook, Now she is admit. they are R/O MI(she had some chest pain) & pnemonia-

Hi Kim, I am good!! Thats always the hardest, back and forth to the hospital!!! Rob's dad lived with us for 6 years, he was 88 and passed in December. The 6 years he was with us was alot alot of hospital time, different ailments etc etc. He was on dialysis 3 times a week for over 3 years, that was a slow torture!!! He had untreatable prostate cancer. Miss him dearly, he became like my dad and one of my closest friends, i helped to care for him the last year of his life. What an amazing man!!!!
Do you have any brothers or sisters?? Can I do anything to help you???

Felt so so good being there...although i was one of the few that raised my hand for out of school more than ten years LOL all good, only a #
Then i will go Sat for my scrubs and uniforms?? How many pairs do you suggest and what brand shoes do you find most comfy???

I started with a large binder, now I use a pocket folder for each subject no binder. So when I need to find my notes for a class or a comp, I can just pull the folder out. I usally like to use dif. colors for classes going on at the same time so I don't get confused. I just pulled out my PVR folder from last March as we are doing PVRII right now. It was a big help just to grab a folder.
I was having problems with the pages pulling out of a binder.
