Hey everyone!
I'm a pre-nursing student at BMCC. I'm taking my entrance exam May 29th, 2018. I'm so excited that the time us almost here. I have a little over a month to study for the exam.
Who else is studying for this exam?
What are some studying tips you have?
How confident are you that you'll make it into this program?
I study everyday. Different topics and as much as I can. I would say for a tip to just be organized and don't stress out a lot over this exam. I am pretty confident that I'll get into this program. Given the pre-req grades and vera GPA, plus the way I'm studying for this exam and my mindset (positivity).
does anyone know if you can switch the program you applied for? for example I applied for the night but want to switch to the day time? so i was told that theres are about 60 seats only between both programs and about 167 ppl took the exam. IT way less that the amount that examed last fall. This time around alot of people scored low. ugh i scored a 66% with the gpa of 3.67 and this was my second time taking the exam.... also are there any people transferring out out bmcc to go to another nursing program? what are ya plan B ?
OMG... so if I don't get a call by end of this week, does that mean I'm not accepted? When should I bother Mr. Si? I don't even want to think about it but I have to prepare myself.
It's going to be ok...Just stay calm. Let's just wait for that FIRST Acceptance post before we get anxious. We got this!

I'm not sure if you can. That would be interesting to see if you can make the switch. You may want to call Mr.Sierra, or schedule an appointment with him to see what your options are.
My plan B was Possibly apply at Montiefiore since it has an evening program. My Plan C was to take a couple fall classes I would need for my BSN, and then retake the Kaplan to get a better score if I don't get into the evening program this turn. I have a 3.8 GPA and got a 79 on my Kaplan.

I found my old transcript from Mr. Sierra, which he used to calculate my GPA when I was applying for the program. interestingly enough, he had circled and listed my English 201 as part of the gpa.
hmmm
