I'm a pre-nursing student at BMCC. I'm taking my entrance exam May 29th, 2018. I'm so excited that the time us almost here. I have a little over a month to study for the exam.
Who else is studying for this exam?
What are some studying tips you have?
How confident are you that you'll make it into this program?
I study everyday. Different topics and as much as I can. I would say for a tip to just be organized and don't stress out a lot over this exam. I am pretty confident that I'll get into this program. Given the pre-req grades and vera GPA, plus the way I'm studying for this exam and my mindset (positivity).
I hope I can ask you another question. I heard you have to be first admitted to BMCC before applying to their nursing program, is that true? If yes, can I do that the same time I am applying for the nursing program?
No, I'm admitted to another college closer to home on LI for my pre-requs.
Theres no way you can be taking MATH 104 at a different school . Math 104 is to be taken at BMCC ONLY. Furthermore, you have to be enrolled in the college for at least a semester before you can apply. Your best bet would to be to try to get in for this fall as a undeclared health major. Then at the end of fall apply for nursing for spring.

I see. Contact bmcc's admissions they'll be able to provide better info than me. I heard u have to spend at least one semester there. As for me I transferred there from Bronx community, completed math 104 and eng 201 and applied for nursing. Keep me posted and good luck. Also be sure to find out if they are going to accept the outside math.

Oh I understand. I will be contacting the admission office like you suggested. I thought you can just transfer like at other schools.
Most Cunys if I'm not mistaken you have to be there for at least one semester before applying to their nursing program. But once transferred and taken math 104 and other pre reqs for nursing you can apply for the Kaplan
Hi guys, I know this thread is pretty old but just wanted to reach out and see if someone can help. This is my first set at BMCC and I am taking Bio 425 and May 104 for Spring. Would it be possible to apply for Fall or I’d have to wait for next spring to enter the program? I have all the prerequisites besides that and fro, what I heard, the Kaplan tests were given May and Dec. so trying to get this timeline and see what that means for applicants. Thanks so much!
