BMCC FALL 2018 Kaplan Entrance Exam

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey everyone!

I'm a pre-nursing student at BMCC. I'm taking my entrance exam May 29th, 2018. I'm so excited that the time us almost here. I have a little over a month to study for the exam.

Who else is studying for this exam?

What are some studying tips you have?

How confident are you that you'll make it into this program?

I study everyday. Different topics and as much as I can. I would say for a tip to just be organized and don't stress out a lot over this exam. I am pretty confident that I'll get into this program. Given the pre-req grades and vera GPA, plus the way I'm studying for this exam and my mindset (positivity).

@rositarn your score is pretty good! I'm sure you'll get in. This waiting game is the worst. I just need to know already. I hope we all get in.

And I applied for the evening program. Which program did you apply for?

From your post to God's eyes! It is driving me alit nuts the waiting. I was really hoping phone calls were going to happen today!!!

I applied for the evening program as well. I wondered how many spots they had and how many ppl actually applied...

I was wondering the same.. I heard it's a lot more competitive than the day program though

Yea it is. There are students with lower GPAs and lower Kaplan scores that got in the day program. Good for them! I just wishes they had just as many spots in evening as well.

Hey Guys,

How do they determine the GPA they consider with the Kaplan? I understand it's GPA for pre-req? Which Pre-req do they use?

Thanks,

R

Math 104, eng 101, a&p 1 and psy

hmmm I was reading older posts and most say the 4 pre-req are for day program consideration and the additional 3 ( ap2, micro and something else) were for the evening program.

What program are you apply for?

I applied for day. The bmcc website should have the information u seek. I just looked at it. U gotta have those 4 that I listed they are the prerequisites then u gotta have a&p 2, microb and something else before starting. Go on the web though or call them I'll get more info that way.

Thanks!!! Will do!!

Pay 100 and psy 240 or soc 100 is apart of the pre reqs for the evening program.
