Hey everyone! Just got the email that my application and transcripts have all been received for the class beginning May 2020. Now I just have to wait for my admissions decision (the worst part!!). Anybody else applying, or have applied, to Binghamton for May? Good luck to you all! ?

I also chose to avoid Utica. From what I gathered on the phone interview, it seemed they were quite expensive for a school that utilized mostly online courses? I could have understood her wrong, but that's the impression I got.

Exactly. Their program is basically self-taught and your paying so much $ to basically teach yourself. It's all online too. It has a high attrition rate. I got the feeling that they accept anyone with a pulse.
I only applied there as a last resort, so if I didn't get into to Binghamton or UB I would go there. However, I already got into UB so if i don't get into Binghamton I will definitely go to UB. I was kind of worried about the whole Utica College process after reading some of the forums.

Agreed. Utica is my backup behind Stony Brook and Binghamton. Since I didn't get into Stony Brook really crossing my fingers for Binghamton.
Good luck to you all! You all are right about the Utica program. It is self taught and I had a couple of friends that almost failed the program because it’s not one or the best. But I believe it all depends on the person as well. I didn’t even apply because I’ll rather not reach myself lol. Binghamton haven’t reached out to me as of yet. Maybe because I still have prerequisites courses to complete. As a backup, I applied to St. Josephs and LeMoyne Accelerated program which is 18 months for your Associates and Bachelors in Nursing. I live in Syracuse so it’s conveniently located for me. Also, the way the courses are structured you can sort of work if you prioritize the right way. They also have a chance for you to work once you are 6 months in as a nurse assistant. The school is just double the cost ?I might be accepted based on them seeing my A&P II grade that I just completed. I think I’m going to go there over Binghamton at this point. ? Good luck to you all no matter what program you land in !!!

@mmmc32 how do you know you didn't get into stonybrook? On the forum it seems everyone is still waiting to hear their decisions.

I got into Utica too, for the May/summer start! If that's where you end up going, would you be starting in January or May?
