Binghamton BAT 2020-2021

Hey everyone! Just got the email that my application and transcripts have all been received for the class beginning May 2020. Now I just have to wait for my admissions decision (the worst part!!). Anybody else applying, or have applied, to Binghamton for May? Good luck to you all! ?

I have a 3.55 overall and a 3.51 pre-rec GPA. I only have to take Microbio in the spring.

Congratulations to those who are accepted. I called and inquired about my application few days ago and was told that decisions won't be going out till January. I'm suprised the second round went already. This makes me really nervous.

Pretty sure they usually do 2 batches of acceptance before winter break & its usually the applicants with the highest GPAs. Most decisions (like 85% ) go out in january. Hope this helps those who are panicking!

I'm less panicked after reading this but I am curious where you got this information from? Fingers crossed this is the case! I was accepted into SUNY Brockport & Niagara University, but Binghamton is much much closer to home.

Agreed, I'm also slightly less panicked. Utica College (already accepted) and Binghamton are both about the same for me, but crossing my fingers for Binghamton as it's cheaper and only 12 months as compared to 16 months. What part of NY are you from?

central Long Island ? Brockport is ~7/8 hours away! I got my BS from Binghamton. It's only 3 1/2 hours away from me (if you speed). Guess I should be thankful I even got the opportunity to go to nursing school! It's been a long journey for me.

Yikes, that definitely would be quite a long drive.

It's been a long journey for me as well, but I agree with you about being thankful. Even if we don't get into Binghamton, we've each already got at least one other acceptance/opportunity to go to Nursing School. I wish you the best no matter where you end up going! ?

Thank you! You as well. It's so easy to get discouraged. We need to focus on the positives & stay optimistic! ?

I have a very similar GPA/pre-req GPA as you (and have finished all pre-reqs) and still haven't heard back. I'm not too sure how Binghamton ranks applicants, but congratulations to you!! Hopefully we all hear back soon ?

Hi guys, I got into UB and Utica College, but I am still waiting to hear from Binghamton. Thank you for the positive encouragements and best wishes everyone.
