Binghamton BAT 2020-2021

Hey everyone! Just got the email that my application and transcripts have all been received for the class beginning May 2020. Now I just have to wait for my admissions decision (the worst part!!). Anybody else applying, or have applied, to Binghamton for May? Good luck to you all! ?

Anyone know when they send out interview requests? Oh wait lol this is Bings group, I didn't apply here - somehow I was looking at Stony Brooks and got in this page.

I didn't think Binghamton did interviews for the accelerated, but maybe they changed it. Based on years past it sounds like people got admissions decisions as early as end of October/ beginning of November though

I didn't apply there because on the website it says decisions granted in Jan and Feb and I have already been accepted to programs that begin Jan 6. I posted in the wrong board with my question, I meant to ask in Stony Brook when interviews begin.

Hi guys, did anyone else get an email and phone call today from "SUNY" saying that the $50 application fee was missing and that they would not forward your application to Binghamton until that was received?

I was confused bc my status checker for Binghamton is complete.

I called Binghamton and they said that there is no payment missing for me. And that BAT decisions will go out February.

Guess I'm just wondering if this is some kind of scam.

Any of you guys get anything like that?

I didn't get anything like that. It sounds weird. If you called Binghamton directly and they said you were good I would definitely go with that

Did you guys send your official transcripts to Binghamton via paper mail or were you able to send some via official PDF from your school and still have them be received? I have like 6 schools with transcripts I need to order and if someone can let me know if I can send the ones I am able to via PDF through the ordering service to Binghamton that would be great!

Also, do your portals say "being considered for fall 2020" although we are trying to enter the May 2020 cohort? Just checking!

Hi!, My school only offered to send it via paper mail so that is what I did. Also if you have any courses in progress, they did not require enrollment verification or an unofficial transcript, just the official when the course is done. I guess you could call Binghamton to see if there is an email they have to accept transcript pdfs.

Yes it does! I also called them to make sure that was not a mistake and they said that all the BAT applicants have fall 2020 on there but they know that the program starts in May.
