Binghamton BAT 2020-2021

Hey everyone! Just got the email that my application and transcripts have all been received for the class beginning May 2020. Now I just have to wait for my admissions decision (the worst part!!). Anybody else applying, or have applied, to Binghamton for May? Good luck to you all! ?

Does anyone who got accepted have pre reqs still in progress?

My application was complete at the end of September, I just have to wait for my final microbiology grade on the 21st.

I have a few friends who got in on 12/5 with 1-2 pre reqs still in progress. They were asked for a course progress request form before they were accepted. Hope this helps. Good luck to you!

Would anyone that got accepted mind sharing there undergrad GPA & prerequisites GPA? Also, I know priority is given to students who has completed all of the 12 prerequisites courses. Too bad I still have to take two more in the spring.

Yea I finished the prereqs last spring at Binghamton

My professor refused to sign the progress report because I wasn't halfway through the course. I emailed Binghamton for clarification and they said it doesn't have to be halfway, just current progress. Sent that right to my professor. Hoping she decides to actually send it ASAP. Very frustrating/disheartening because I feel like it ruined my chances by not getting it in sooner.

I had a similar situation! My professor doesn't believe in course progress reports bc grades can totally change by the end. She ended up sending it just this week which is almost a month after I asked. Totally agree that not having it in early probably hurted our chances of an earlier decision.

Since my professor was unresponsive regarding the Progress Report, my Admissions Counselor had me send proof of my progress (screenshot of my course dashboard) and then marked my application as complete. I'm still a bit discouraged because it took so long, but very thankful he was able to help me out. Hoping you and I, and everyone else still waiting, hears some good news soon!
