Binghamton BAT 2020-2021

Updated:   Published

Hey everyone! Just got the email that my application and transcripts have all been received for the class beginning May 2020. Now I just have to wait for my admissions decision (the worst part!!). Anybody else applying, or have applied, to Binghamton for May? Good luck to you all! ?

Same here...

I received my first bachelors from Binghamton. If you live on campus, I would recommend the on campus apartments. But I wouldn't recommend living on campus overall; you can get more for less off campus. Mostly, I HIGHLY advise against U Club. I lived there my junior year, management is extremely rude & constantly invades your personal space by entering your apartment and touching your belongings without warning. It made for a very difficult year.

Sorry for responding late. Thank you so much for your advice. Would you mind sharing how to find off campus housing, from fk or agent. Thanks

I applied to NYU and got in, but declined them bc it costs an arm and a leg to go there. Going to apply to other NY programs that start in fall.

Hi, I think you may try to apply for college for saint Vincent. It has both summer and fall semesters. If i did not get accepted from Bing, I will attend this school. Plus it is closed to my house

I just was waitlisted! I already accepted a seat at the University of Miami though.

Good luck to everyone ?

For those of you that were accepted, can you please tell us how much is the tuition deposit to hold your seat and also when is the deadline you have to pay it?

$350 and definitely by April 1. I'm not sure if there's a "within 20 days of acceptance" policy like some other schools have

For those that got waitlisted...anyone mind sharing their stats? ?

Thank you so much. This definitely helps. Hoping I get in from the waitlist.

3.4 cumulative, 3.4 prereq. Had all A’s and B’s, but one C. 500+ hours of patient care work in a hospital, a year and a half of scientific research completed.

I won’t be sending in my “I want to be on the waitlist form” as I already accepted a seat in the ABSN program at the University of Miami, so that makes the list one person smaller!

Good luck to everyone ?

Specializes in B.S. in Neuroscience/ABSN Student.

I got waitlisted with a cumulative GPA of 3.14 & a prereq GPA of 3.15. I have a huge upward trend in my last 6/7 semesters & I've been working as a MA since August 2018. I'm also certified as an EMT-B.
