Binghamton BAT Program 2018-2019

Published

Hi there! Has anyone else applied to this program and is waiting to hear back? I would love to hear about people's past experiences as well as get to know someone on the same page as me! I submitted my application in mid September and am wondering when we might hear back? I heard it was early last year!

I 'm waitlisted too. Bing is my dream school? anyone know how many waitlisted student got in last year??

I got waitlisted I am upset because this is the only school that I applied to and if I don't get accepted from the waitlist then I will have to wait a whole year to get back to nursing school. Do a lot of people get accepted off the waitlist?

For the people that got waitlisted what is your stat and how many pre-reqs do you have left?

Hello, I wanted to know if anyone has applied to the Traditional Nursing program for the Fall 2018? and have you guys gotten an acceptance for this program? I would like to know whose going I got accepted!

Hey so I was waitlisted in January, yesterday I got a phone call seeing if I was still interested in the BAT program that led to them offering me admission! I got my status changed and official acceptance letter today! Don't loose hope guys!

Congratulations! I am happy for you I wish that could be me. What is your stats like your GPA and your pre-req GPA? Do you have any experiences working at the hospital? I am surprise that they accept you out of the waitlist because they told all waitlist applicants that they would start accepting them between April 1st to May 15th. It is surprising that they chose you around March because when I call them they made it clear that will start accepting people after April 1st not in March.

I agree, I was shocked when they told me there was a spot available, I didn't expect to here anything until April. I graduated from Binghamton two years ago and my GPA was a 3.4. MY pre-req GPA is a 3.9 (science pre-req is 4.0) No hospital/medical experience.

My gpa is a 3.2 and my prereq gpa is a 3.4. I feel like I don't have no chance because my grades are not that high and in most cases it is very hard to get pick from the waitlist. Around what time they call you? They even told me that they will accept or deny people off the waitlist through email everything is done through email. When I call them I told them if I could get a respond earlier than April and they said that they can'not accept people in March because they want to wait until everyone put down their deposit after April 1st.

@Trinnn I am so scared to get rejected because Bing is the only school I am waiting for all the schools I applied to rejected me.

trust me I get it, that's how I felt. I only applied to two schools and I wouldn't of found out if I got in to the second one until after Binghamton's program began. I'm not sure what other peoples gpa's were but I would look at other Binghamton BAT threads from previous years to possibly compare the gpa's of people that were accepted from the wait list. I think there are people who were accepted who is still trying to figure out if they are going to attend Binghamton still so spots will definitely open up. The deposit deadline is April1st so people on the waitlist should be hearing back pretty soon after that day

Hi everyone, I was waitlisted last year and got a call in early April asking me if I was still interested. I was taking microbiology that spring as my last prerequisite. My undergrad gpa was a 3.62 and I had no healthcare work experience, just a lot of volunteer work. I did call maybe a week before they called me asking if I wanted the spot, just to really profess my interest in the program and ask if there was anything I could currently do to enhance my chances of getting off the waitlist.

In your cohort did a lot of people got pick from the waitlist? Do you know anyone that had a 3.2 gpa that got accepted from the waitlist?
