Binghamton BAT Program 2018-2019

Hi there! Has anyone else applied to this program and is waiting to hear back? I would love to hear about people's past experiences as well as get to know someone on the same page as me! I submitted my application in mid September and am wondering when we might hear back? I heard it was early last year!

I also applied and am waiting to hear back. From looking at older threads, people started getting decisions as early as November.

I applied when it first opened and I am waiting to hear back. Admissions said that decisions are sent out in November. Have you applied to any other schools?

Yes, I applied to Stony Brook and I'm still applying to Downstate. How about you?

I applied the day it opened, I hope we hear back sooner than later!! Does anyone know if there is an interview/calculations test? I also applied to Drexel (accepted) Pace (having an interview) and stony brook (still waiting).

From what I've heard, there's no interview/test process to get admitted. I currently go to Binghamton and they're very straightforward. You either have the grades, some experience, a good resume or you don't. But I feel like they're more in favor of those with high GPA's. Does Drexel and pace offer a summer program? Because when I looked up the requirements for Pace, it looked like the program only starts in the fall.

I just submitted my application! I was wondering if anyone knew what the average GPA was for previous years?

I wish everyone good luck!

Pace and Drexel have both fall and spring classes but obviously a much high tuition fees than state programs. Drexels spring cohort starts april 2nd and paces starts in january. They have more info on their websites regarding application due dates etc.

I also applied! The application is so vague so it worries me, but I guess we'll see!!

I just applied as well where were you able to upload your resume?

when you check your status on the status checker (once they send you the login info), you should be able to upload it under "Forms" where it says upload materials.

So you submit the common application and payment then upload the resume? And they update you on when they receive the transcript?

You don't submit your resume through the common or suny app. Once you submit the common or suny app, you should receive an email with log in information to check the status of your application on status.binghamton.edu. I'm not sure how soon they send that email or if they even send that email since I'm already a student at Binghamton and I'm able to check my app with my log in credentials. When you're able to check the status, on the binghamton portal, you're able to see if they received any transcripts you sent and it would let you know what materials you're missing to upload, not sure if they send emails stating whether they received transcripts or not.
