Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone applied to Beth Israel NYC for this coming Fall? I applied there and I really want to get in. I always wanted to go. If anyone knows if it's hard to get in, or what score they are looking for on the NLN exam that would be rally helpful. And is it true that the only start giving interviews in May????

What???!!!! They never received your transcripts? Did the letter recommend you give them a call? We have the same NLN scores. I spoke with that nice lady we've been scolded not to name, but that nice lady said they were waiting for my letter. I dropped it off yesterday.

Just spoke with the nice lady who I will call "angel" over at PBISON, I was told the committee will meet today at 1:30 to make final decisions on who to call for interviews and decide on previously interviewed applicant.

This maybe it ladies..........Let the praying begin!!!

Let the praying continue !!!!! I also spoke with the "Angel" today. She told me she hand delivered my letter of explanation to the chairman. When I asked her if she read my letter, she responded, "It was good." She's my new BFF. Good luck everyone.

Hey Ladies!

Triple A that is great news! things are definitely moving, I Was called today for an interview at 3pm tomorrow (they finally received my transcripts this morning by fedex from London), so am now anxiously scrambling to get an outfit etc! Good luck with the waiting....and prepare, as when things do move its fast, and i feel unprepared now!

also could anyone tell me if its normal us etiquette to take notes in an interview? my friends at work say yes, but it sounds odd to my european ears lol!

Good luck lily127!!! It's definitely normal to take notes - I used to interview people for jobs and have found that it shows that you're interested and organized :)

Thanks Liz, I will definitely do that then. What else did you take with you if you don't mind me asking? Extra resumes maybe?
