Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone applied to Beth Israel NYC for this coming Fall? I applied there and I really want to get in. I always wanted to go. If anyone knows if it's hard to get in, or what score they are looking for on the NLN exam that would be rally helpful. And is it true that the only start giving interviews in May????
Just called, after they put me on hold for what seemed like an hour, they got back on and said that I was accepted. ....maybe I can finally sleep tonight. For the people that have not heard yet..There are probably a few people that have been accepted and are not going to take the seat. Then there will be spots opening up. Good Luck to everyone.
Congratulations Kittty!!!!
Hey guys, I don't think all the seats were filled. I think It was a standardized letter. They said they were accepting 150 applicants this semester. I know they hadn't completed reviewing all the applications when they sent my letter. You're all still eligible....keep the faith
Honeycutts - I have had an interview. On Tues the 12th. As far as I know they are not even close to done with the whole process. I was told that they will be meeting to discuss the people that have been interviewed thus far, next Tues or Wed. After that I think they will be going on to a fresh group of applicants.
wow - I haven't been receiving any update emails from this thread and decided to check in... glad I did!!
kittty - congratuations!!! hopefully we'll get to meet in the Fall :)
For everyone else out there still waiting - don't lose hope! I'm thinking that maybe BI is waiting for the first batch of acceptances to send in tuition deposits before sending out more acceptance letters. My acceptance letter stated that I needed to respond within 2 wks of the letter (dated May 14) - so I think there's definitely some time left! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you all :)

You know that doesn't seem too pushy, because a friend of mine who went the school and now graduated told me to do that.. I asked her the same thing.. I don't want to seem pushy, but hey for real we all have nothing to loose.. Or do we? We are in limbo.. and what the Lord has for us will be for us and no one can take that away. So Ladies, "animo" like we say in spanish.. "cheer up"... You know as I say these words I am also giving myself a pep talk.. lol.
Hopefully soon oneday we will all laugh over our waiting drama over lunch before one of our nursing classes!.. lol
