My school provided us all with the ATI book that corresponded with the ATI topic that we were being tested on. Reading this helped a ton since the information is condensed and straight to the point. The other helpful tool was doing the ATI practiced quizzes. You could even check Quizlet.

I never opened any of the ATI books. Not once, and I always scored very well on the proctored exams. I used the ATI website. You go on there, you can do modules, watch tutorials, and there are practice quizzes and exams. There are even practice non-proctored exams in whatever area you are being tested in. I did those, and never had an issue. They were VERY helpful - especially the practice non-proctored exams (in fact, my school made us complete the practice non-proctored exam and turn in the report sheet from the practice exam or else we weren't allowed to do the proctored exam).

As already mentioned, doing the nonproctored practice assessments and the practice quizzes on the website are EXTREMELY helpful. The modules were just too time consuming for me. It is important that you read your main textbook along with your ATI books because there may be some things in your main book that may not be written in the ATI book. I have taken practice ATI quizzes that asked questions that I did not find the answer to in the ATI book; I had to refer to the main book to find the answer. The ATI helps give you that "AH-HA" moment when you're reading your main textbook.
