I'm sure this has been a topic thoroughly discussed. I chose to buy nice scrubs, I enjoy looking professional and enjoy having nice scrubs. I spend a lot of time in them as a CNA, and will as a future nurse, so I see them as an investment.
Does anyone else who wears Koi, find them to wear in the crotch/upper leg area? Makes me so mad, as they are $30 or so each. The tops, no problem.
What do nurses prefer in brands? I find Walmart to last the longest, yet be the cheapest! I just bought a pair of MedCouture, so I'll be curious how those fare.
Opinions? What scrubs do you love?
LOVE my SmartScrubs. Company was started by an RN. The cargo pants I bought FIVE YEARS ago still look good. The pockets are lined and they wear like iron. Really unusual print tops.
The thing I like about the catalog is that all of the print tops have a list next to them of what color bottoms match the print. So you don't have to guess if it's navy, black or brown from the picture.
Slightly pricey, but really, really well-made. OH- no tags rubbing your neck!
I have Aviators. I like them, too.
My favorites.... Carhartt Ripstop. Cargo pockets on the pants, and they have a 'Multi-pocket' shirt that has lots of pockets. I just bought another set. They are made from a different sort of fabric. They aren't heavy and thick like Aviators, but the weave feels "industrial" (sorry, can't think of a better word). Love em

I swear by Landau, long lasting, soft and not too pricey. Koi wears out due to rubbing and the type of fabic. Grey's tends to just as soft.
