also, aside from internship, you can also do volunteer work for the AMERICORPS which gives you a field of choice on whether you want to work in the health care field to get experience plus you get a benefit for volunteering with them but that depends on the field you are going into just go to: AmeriCorps.gov; do a hospital volunteer like show a nurse in medsurg or emergency room, or somewhere you want to shadow a nurse; or if you are around LA County Area or any County Region, go to their website and look for Internship Training at LA County (that is for the LA county region); Then if you are thinking of getting into a magnet RN, you should consider going for the Versant BSN Nursing, that is training RN graduate students to further their advance career in nursing for those going into the BSN nursing or so.
