update 1:

on june 6 dos ammended their june visabulletin by adding a new category for nurses (schedule - a) and making it as 'current'. that means, all wait is over for nurses now and gates are re-opened officially on june 6th.

as the regular readers of allnurses.com know, this thread can be connsidered as the continuation of the thread "worst news for rns from india, phili..." (click here to view that thread : https://allnurses.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87149). worst news thread was started when darkness and gloom hit intl. nurse community when dos announced (dec 11 2004) the retrogression for nurse immigration from these 3 countries.

Thanx a lot for ur reply..... I was shocked to hear this. I was just thinking that I will be scheduled for next month... Coz My agency told me that my case has gone from NVC to embassy last 16th of november... And I would not think in my wildest dream that it was a lie... Coz they had given me the Consulate number MDR2004XXXXXX . Today i contacted my agency again showing them the email I have received. They told me that they have payed the fees long time back and everything is on place.. They insist me to trust them... yeah.. i find no reason to do not.

And i am totally confused. I really don't know how to handle this. Coz my agency say if they wouldn't have payed the fees i wouldn't have got the consulate number... Does anybody has the same experience... They say NVC dosen't take so much intrest in sending private mails. I am still considering the fact that do not trust the agency... Please.. somebody help me.. I need advise.. really don't know what to do..... :crying2:

What is the date on the letter, and when was it mailed? The postmark on the envelope?

i'm scheduled for interview 3rd week of august.

questions: are dependents (husband & child) required to be with me during interview? if not, is it possible for my husband to be interviewed in saudi arabia? and how?

I suggest that you contact the Embassy where you will be interviewed.

Most have a requirement that all persons that will be covered under that document are present at the interview. Even babies and little children are included with that.

Have you tried contacting immigration to verify this? Soemtimes letters are sent in error...........but you need to follow up with this, do not wait for your agency to do so....have you actually been following up to see where you are in the process, or have you been relying on your agency? You can go to http://www.visapro.com and input your number and see what comes up.

Hi Suzane,

At last I got a chance to speak to NVC. They are saying that my visa fees was paid on last August and my husbands visa fees is not paid yet. But the agency is claiming that they have paid the fees long time back. Apart from that the lady at NVC said they need to get my husbands biographic form also. My agency said they have submited his biographic form somewhere in last september. Anyway she said she will send one more packet to my atorney it seems, regarding the payment of visa fees.

Agency is saying they have paid the fees and everything in order. NVC is saying something diffrent. I really don't know whom to trust and what to do... In a big soup in the last moment.

Well that is the reason I did not went to any agency. They give all the delays and lies. Well definitely NVC is telling the truth. These operators or customer representatives based their answers on their computer database. In only means that your agency did not pay for your husband's and they are lying to you...

I am sorry to say but expect alot of delays will be coming on your applcation if that was the case that was specified by NVC.
