I wear these:
why do you guys wear boots? btw im going into nursing school so I am new.
The ones I posted happen to be the type that I have three pair of from previous life work. When I went to work I wore them so it makes sense (to me) to wear them now to work. I like them because they are fluid impervious, easy to clean, more comfortable than any tennis shoes I've ever owned, and they keep my toes warm in cold hospitals, lol.
In life, I only wear tennis shoes to work out or run in. The rest of the time I'm wearing some type of casual boot or hiking boot/shoe such as these I'm wearing right now: Amazon.com: Merrell Men's Moab Waterproof Hiking Shoes - Beluga 11 - Wide: Shoes
I like minimalist shoes like new balances. No the nike frees though, theyre too squishy. After 2 hours standing on nike Frees and my back hurts. My favorite are good o chucks. Comfy, looks awesome, cheap and easy to clean (I wear my beat up leather pair i used to use for lifting). I heard good things about danskos but I could care less about nursing specific brands... anything branded for nursing for men were a POS back when they made us wear formally in school so I never looked back.

Put some gel supports in them and your good to go. They are so comfortable and just awesome anyway.

Currently, what do you guys recommend as the best nursing shoes for men? I'd love to try a pair of the Timberland PRO Renova Professional Slip-On, but they are only made for females. When it comes to nursing supplies, men seem to be left with a limited selection.
