Bellevue College hopefuls 2014-2015

Hey everyone, I didn't see a thread for this yet so I thought I would start one.

Is anyone else applying to BC for Fall 2014/Winter 2015 cohorts? I'm getting nervous with the deadline less than two months away. I did all my pre reqs there and it's my first choice school which probably adds to the nerves a bit. Are any of you finished with the application process yet? I think it's nice that this year, the background check is after the initial application just for the sake of saving money if I didn't score high enough on my TEAS to get in.

So my letter said I am number 27 on the waiting list for winter.. Intake it that means I'm not actually accepted in the winter cohert but I have a small chance if getting in right? That's what I am understanding from the letter. Can someone enlighten me if I read that correctly.

You have a chance of getting in. It would depend on the 70-80 people ahead of you. 26 would need to turn down their spot. Small chance, but reasonably possible.

Ok I'm glad I read it right then haha well I can hope is that somehow 26 people go to other programs haha

Other programs, get pregnant, decide they don't want to go, don't pass the background check. Lots of reasons you may still get in. Good luck.

Thank you jaycam! Congratulations on making it yourself :) I know what held me up on the TEAS (stupid English language portion at the end) but everything else was in the 90s. Oh well! Next year will be mine!
