Bellevue College 2011 hopefuls

Thought I would put this thread up for those of us who have applied to BC RN program.

I know we won't find out until mid-April if we made it or not, but how did everyone do on the TEAS test???? I have heard alot of horror stories about test scores.

Has anyone used aplus for their cna training? I want to do Bellevue's program but their orientation that is mandatory falls on a day I absolutely cannot schedule anything. Does anyone know of a program that is equally as thorough as Bellevue?

What I understood from the information meeting is that GPA does not matter at first. I have a 4.0, scored an 84 on the TEAS and I'm still #11 on the waitlist. It sounds like many people scored an 84 on the TEAS, so I have a feeling they looked at GPA to place the order. Crossing my fingers that some folks decide to go to other schools...

ELSunny, I got that from the information session as well. I am #7 on the waiting list and my GPA was the absolute minimum you could have in order to be accepted, so they definitely didn't look at GPA at all, just the TEAS score. I got the exact score as Strawberry girl posted and she is a head of me, so they must have considered GPA because of our tie. I am also hoping people got accepted elsewhere and go!! I just hope we find out before January, what a wait!!!

Do you think we should start another string titled:Bellevue RN class of 2013? Or something like that?

I think it would be great to get to know some of the people who are going to be in our class. I think we will be seeing a lot of each other over the next 6 quarters! Let me know if you start a new thread!

I know last year they went to #18 on waitlist and previous year to # 30, mostly b/c people failed to get shots and CNA, a few went to other programs but that was not the most common reason for shift

I saw that someone was asking about teas score cut offs. I got in for fall with an 88 on my TEAS vs 5. I'm guessing that I am on the low end of what got in for fall.
