Bellevue College 2011 hopefuls

Thought I would put this thread up for those of us who have applied to BC RN program.

I know we won't find out until mid-April if we made it or not, but how did everyone do on the TEAS test???? I have heard alot of horror stories about test scores.

I talked to Chie today, and she told me last year they went to #30 on the waiting list. She told me I am "basically" in! :-P So those of you who I spoke to who are #7 and #11 you both have very, very good chances at getting in as well! Yay! Can I post in the new Bellevue college thread if I am 95% I will be admitted to winter?? lol

AHHHHH! Strawberrygirl you are my new hero!! :heartbeat I am so excited! It still would be nice to know when so I can give my work plenty of notice so they can hire and train someone else, but oh well! Hurray for us! Chie HAS to be confident about what she is saying in order to give you such hope... thank you for passing that on!! Every sentence I wrote has an exclamation point at the end!

Do not give up hope! When I talked to Chie, it was only one day after I got my letter and she had told me that a few people had already declined their acceptance.

i have a question about the winter class.Some of you said that you made it already.

so does mean the winter session is filled ..that there is no more applying for the winter session??

Bellevue only takes applications one time a year and admits for both fall and winter during that application period. They are not accepting any more application for fall 2011/winter 2012. If you haven't applied you will have to apply during the next application period for Fall 2012/Winter 2013. This year the deadline was February 5 for applications. Not sure what the next application period is. Should be on their website.

They are starting something new this year, part time nursing school and the deadline is said to be....

"The online application will be available beginning June 20, 2011. The application deadline for 2012-2014 admission is Sept. 2, 2011." .......as copied from the BC website. This is so new that I don't know anything about it. As for full the time nursing school status it is closed to new applications for the 2011/2012 year.

Any waitlisters hear anything yet? I wonder if we will get notified as room opens up or in one big lump after the first cut-off date for the Fall Quarter people...

I'm also interested to hear when and how waitlisters are notified. I heard that students accepted into the Fall quarter (and maybe winter too) need to send in thier acceptance by the end of May.

Chie said that they will begin notifying the accepted waitlisters in the beginning of June, because the end of May is the cutoff for admitted students to pay their deposit and secure their spot.
