Bellevue College 2011 hopefuls

Published

Thought I would put this thread up for those of us who have applied to BC RN program.

I know we won't find out until mid-April if we made it or not, but how did everyone do on the TEAS test???? I have heard alot of horror stories about test scores.

Great news! I've been lurking here for a while now and I was accepted today into winter quarter! I was so happy when I saw CStatic's post yesterday because I knew it would be coming today. Can't wait to see you all there! I got a 85.3 on the TEAS so I was pretty worried when I saw CS got 86. I was thinking maybe I'd just miss it. I'm so happy, but definitely in shock.

Strawberrygirl.. Let us know if you get in... I am right behind you on the waitling list (#7). Bellevue is the only place I could apply for with out having to re-do my (old) prereqs, I hope a lot of people get accepted elsewhere!

I will definitely let you know! If the accepted applicants have to confirm by the end of May, then it is possible we could know if we are in by June. I think the best idea for us is to just forget about it, enjoy our spring, and worry about acceptance later. That way we don't psych ourselves out.

And congratulations Hurley Hurley! Wow I was right behind you with a 84.9 if only I would have been half a point higher I wouldn't be on this dang waiting list!

I am on the waiting list for Winter 2012 too. My individual score was 84.4% (V), and GPA 3.7.

Do they have waiting lists for Fall and Winter separately? Or is this the only one general waiting list? Does anyone know how it works?

There is just one waiting list. If someone drops out of fall quarter, than a winter quarter applicant can move up to fall quarter and a waiting list applicant can move up to winter quarter.

What number are you on the waiting list? Do you think us on the waiting list still have a good chance?

Oh, thank you, Strawberrygirl2, for your reply! It looks like there are a lot of people who scored 84%, because my number is significantly farther away than yours. You are almost at the beginning of the waitlist, and I believe you have a great chance to get into the program! :)

As the other gal that got in was telling us she got an 85.3, can you believe the difference just a fraction of a point made! We will see. I guess only time can tell and all we can do is keep our fingers crossed.

If not this year, there is always next year.

I got my letter today! I got in for fall! I am so relieved and excited. Anyone else get in for fall?

I got in for Fall. TEAS 92 (V) GPA 3.95. What were the averages curiously, anyone know official, cut off for Fall?Winter?

I think I was on the lowest range of accepted for winter (still want to stay spring doh!) I went back and looked at my scores, (I took it twice TEAS version V) , and the higher score was an 86.00 on the dot, with a GPA of 3.8. (My other score was an 85.8) to be honest I didn't think GPA/classes mattered though if I meet someone who had a slightly higher TEAS but is waitlisted then I will assume it did count. My GPA was good with lots of heavy course loads. maybe it will help in the future to get into a BA program:D

I got into the fall cohort with a TEAS V of 90. Cstatic, i don't know if you are aware but we are already automatically accepted to start the UW-Bothell RN-BSN when we graduate at Bellevue rather than having to apply.

I'm in Winter , My highest TEAS was 88.6 and I ended with a 3.79 GPA.

I think the GPA was supposed to be a tiebreaker in case of 2 same TEAS scores.
