Thought I would put this thread up for those of us who have applied to BC RN program.
I know we won't find out until mid-April if we made it or not, but how did everyone do on the TEAS test???? I have heard alot of horror stories about test scores.
I don't know, I live on the east side and didn't get it today. And my last name starts with C. Gosh we all sound crazy! Ha ha
You got into winter quarter with an 86 on V? I got an 84.9 on V so now I am scared I won't get in at all!
Yikes it better come tomorrow or else I will have a heart attack.
Is anyone registered for the CNA course at BC? Do you know the schedule? Of course it doesn't say on the web site.
I am enrolled in the Spring CNA class at BC right now. All students are divided into two teams. We have Lectures on Mondays and Wednesdays 5-9pm; and Skills Labs on Tuesdays (Team #1 only) 5-8pm, Thursdays (Team #2 only) 5-8pm, and Saturdays (Team #1 8am-11:15am; and Team #2 11:45am-3pm).
Well I am convinced. Is there any way for that statement to be taken other than you think I am lying? Bizarre.
BTW to those of you also waiting, I hesitated saying anything because I thought about how I would rush home to check if someone else had posted that letters were in the mail, but I had already said I would post if anything came to give a heads up! The letter is dated April 21 BTW so mine was apparently just printed before being mailed.
You would think having gotten it I would be relieved and not stress anymore, but to be honest after no one else posted getting anything (pos, neg, or otherwise), I started to stress it was a mistake.... like those one in a million oops! Now I do sound crazy LOL my family may be right, I might just stress a tad to much

Ha ha ha it is not a mistake! You just got it yesterday, say the rest of us get them today. You just got lucky with your mail. Relax you got in!
I am really really really scared I won't even get in at all with a 84.9 TEAS and a 3.3 GPA
To be honest I don't know if GPA even matters. When I took A&P with Ellinger even he said there had been some discussion that using TEAS score only didn't always give all the best candidates admission since some people had low GPA's and then just made a great TEAS score, but that was nursing admissions policy. So unless they changed it this session, it is a TEAS score based decision. Having said that, my score was a 85.something and they round, so 86. I don't know if that was on the beginning of the second cut or scraping the last few to get in, but I would say odds are good for you since we are only a point away!
Hi everyone! I've been "spying" on this thread for a little while now and it has helped provide some comfort throughout the anxiety of waiting for a letter. Just wanted to share that I received an acceptance letter today for the Fall class. I scored a 90 on the TEAS V and I live in Seattle (if that helps with estimating snail mail time).

Well thank you, you have brightened my spirit! Maybe I will get in after all.
There really is no good reason for my GPA being a 3.3 other than that I tried to work too many hours alongside school. I am used to getting very good grades. However, if I get into nursing school I will bargain with my new employer to not have me work more than 8 hours a week. I will probably have to change departments though, because where I work (outpatient surgery) is Monday-Friday. And it would only be suitable for me to work a weekend day. That makes me sad
Oh well, I cannot count my chicken before they hatch. I may not even get in. Look at me rambling on I really am going mad. Where is the mail anyway?
