ours have to have 3-5 years ICU experience and work as a paramedic from the ED too. Takes a long time to actually get "in the air"

Specializes in burn ICU, SICU, ER, Trauma Rapid Response.

Our air transport service ONLY hires nurses with significant SICU experience. PICU experience is a great help and will help in getting hired. We never hire ER nurses unless they also have a lot of SICU and or PICU experience.
