Nurses and other health care professionals please be aware; if you are hospitalized for depression or any other mental illness you will be reported to the Board of Nursing/Department fo Health professions. They can and will attempt to take your nursing privilege/license away. They now do this with anyone with a license from the Department of Health Professions. I know, I had to fight to keep my RN license from being taken from me after a recent psychiatric hospitalization for depression. It makes you think twice about asking for assistance/help in the future.
