Just wanted to start a group for students applying for the BCIT January program!

Does anyone know how many applicants there are and how many seats they are filling? So nervous!

The number is approximately 90-96 seats. You may ask the total number from the department, it varies from year to year in between ~400-and more. When I asked before the deadline, they didn't know yet. If you ask now,please let us know just of curiosity

I called and they said to email the department and ask for the answer!

DID anyone email them, or find out how many people applied? Also have people heard if they got in or not?

Marina, I called and a lady said for me to email the department ( the email is found on the bcit nursing contact link) and i emailed them last week asking for the number of applicants and have not heard back yet. I haven't heard from admissions either.... so nervous!!! We should be hearing back if we are short listed some time this week.

I got shortlisted!!! :) Really trying not to get my hopes up but this made me so happy! Good luck to everyone still waiting and I'm so sorry to those who did not get shortlisted. I recommend calling the department and they can let you know what you have to work on for next time!

I'm trying to stay calm that I haven't heard back yet... although now that you guys have heard back I'm impulsively checking :S

Whats your last name? Mine is ibra and i think it might be alphabetical for how and when they send out letters, thats what i noticed for previous intakes

Finally, Oh man... I thought my heart was going to explode... I got short listed!

Phew* also not trying to get my hopes up though since It's still probably only a 50% chance of getting in at this point.
