BCIT August 2014 Applicants

Seeing as it's almost time for the start of the August 2014 intake applications, I figured it apt to start this thread now. :D

This will be my second time applying (applied previously for august 2013).

Currently working on finish my second A&P course and will be finishing my undergraduate degree next semester!

Let the waiting begin~ :)

Hopefully no news is good news in this case for everyone!!!

So.. BCIT admissions said that the nursing committee will be making their final decisions by next week, which means we'd have to wait a bit more!

Hey everyone :), I'm still waiting too. Thought I'd join in the anticipation XD. Thanks for letting us know Cesh! So does that mean there's actually some seats left? I was under the impression all acceptance offers were given already and was just waiting for a rejection lol. The wait and constant checking has been aweful! lol

I was also wondering, for the people who got accepted last week, did you guys have/already take the libs courses?

I havent taken a libs course and I got accepted. I believe we will have time to take it after the first semester on our own time . GOOD LUCK everyone !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

kath22 I'm not sure how many spots are left, but there must be people who have received offers from more than one school or have decided to decline their offer for other reasons. The commitment fee is due on June 5th so there will probably be more spots available after that date too! I took one LIBS course last semester and am currently taking the second one. I think they put more emphasis on how many post-secondary courses you've taken and things like volunteer work :)

If anyone is looking for scrubs, check out Walmart's website, they have a bunch of them on mega clearance. I got 3 pants and 3 tops for under $20 total and free shipping! I haven't received them yet so not sure what the quality is like, but they seem to have decent reviews on the website. Can always return them if they're horrible but for $3 a piece you can't go wrong :p Regular price is $16 each

They didn't tell me whether seats are still available or not. I even asked them if offers are sent alphabetically but they didn't comment on that! I honestly don't know whats gonna happen! I'm gonna try to not go on their website as much as I've been doing! Haha!
