Well just submitted my questionnaire!!!:writing: Phewf I'm glad that's over with! Now the wait begins! I wonder if they wait right till May 30 or if they let you know sooner?? Hopefully sooner! good luck to everyone!!:nurse:[i[/i]

For those who have already been accepted, did they actually update the score of your questionnaire answers?

Did anyone else exceed the given time? I was busy proof-reading everything and they didn't notice time was already up!

Hopefully that minute of discrepancy wouldn't effect my assessment...

Hi xmichelle! I did not see anything about scores for the questionnaire. As I was doing it I noticed that it was 6 marks per question but I don't know if they actually awarded points for each answer or if it was just there randomly. And I did go over time as well, but I submitted as soon as I noticed that it said I was exceeding the time limit. Luckily it did not affect me getting accepted :) So don't worry about it!

I recently just joined the thread, it's been really helpful reading over posts. I was short-listed as well, and as of about 5 min ago just finished the questionnaire. The time goes by really fast, doesn't feel like 90 minutes at all! I would agree with stephara that you can just read over the suggested material to give you an idea of what qualities they want to you demonstrate in your answers. I guess we play the waiting game, good luck to everyone!

If anyone has questions about the program itself, I have friends who are at BCIT and I'd be happy to pass them along, there are a lot of things that I might have not thought of!

Congratulation to those who got accepted or shortlisted to BCIT Nursing!

I have a question to those who are in the program or to those who have been accepted and already have their schedules! I'm wondering what the hours are since I'm trying to pre arrange childcare for my kids if I do get accepted! Thanks!

Hi Myaconnor, I think the rough schedule would be classes Monday, Thursday, and Friday potentially between 7:30-5:30 and clinical Tuesdays and Wednesdays potentially between 6:30-10:00. Nothing is set in stone though!

For anyone who has already been accepted into the program, do you know if we have to get our CPR HCP, Respirator Fit Test, and WHMIS certifications before the first day of classes?

Hello everyone, I just joined this forum, I am currenty playing the waiting game, as I was shortlisted and completed the questionaire on may 7th. For the first group of people did you guys have to wait the full amount of time. They told us that we would know by May 30th. Just curious if we would know before them. I just want to know :)

Thanks so much Stephara for the schedule of times! I know that it is not set in stone but it helps to kinda know! After you did the questionnaire how long did it take to find out?? This wait is Killin me!!

Haha! They sent out offers the same time they short-listed us! So about a month after the applications closed!:D
