Seeing as it's almost time for the start of the August 2014 intake applications, I figured it apt to start this thread now.
This will be my second time applying (applied previously for august 2013).
Currently working on finish my second A&P course and will be finishing my undergraduate degree next semester!
Let the waiting begin~ :)
Myaconnor, are you in the process of finishing a degree? BCIT's part-time studies are really expensive!
I just called the nursing department regarding my official transcript and the said that they'd wait for it to arrive and it won't affect my application. She also said that we should know if we got accepted or not by May 30th. 16 more days!!!!!
No I don't have degree, I have been taking 1 to 2 Courses a semester since I have 2 small kids plus I'm working as well. I'm really looking forward to getting in and knowing that I just have 3 years left! It seems as though everyone has degrees! Are you applying with a degree? I have all the pre reqs and 10 years in the health care field! Really hoping that it enough to be a candidate! So they said by may 30th? That's so exciting!
Hey guys!
Just wanted to let you guys know that I tried to see if they would accept a course I took previously that was very similiar to LIBS 7001 however they didn't accept it. They said most people end up having to take LIBS 7001. Rarely ever do they accept any equivalents.
I am also taking LIBS 7001 online this summer and haven't started anything, haha! It's good to know others here are taking it too in case we have questions! :)

I took English 1200 at kwantlen, it looks similar to the Libs 7001! I'll probs have to take both in Sept if I don't get in this intake to better my chances for january! But I just really needed a break from school, I have not taken off one semester for 3 years. Time to recharge my battery for the nursing program! It seems as tho everyone has the Libs courses! And why are they soooo expensive?
