I am so excited to be starting nursing at BCIT in August!
For future applicants: To have a strong application make sure you have work experience, volunteer experience (preferably healthcare), as well as liberal arts courses - my Psych 241 at SFU transferred over as a libs course and I will find out if any other courses of mine transfer over once I send them an updated transcript.
I am going to be going in with a completed BSc in Kinesiology and Psychology, but a full degree is not necessary, just at least 60 credits to be competitive!
Shortlisted. Also, very excited about this questionnaire. I love the idea that they aren't just scanning our resume, and instead adding personal experiences and thoughts into the equation.
Additionally, anyone know the final seats being awarded? I know 176 have been shortlisted, but not the final count. I could assume it's the same as usual (98), but would love to know for sure.
From past threads, my guess is we hear back April 25th. Exactly 5 weeks. Now I just have to try to distract myself from thinking too much about this until then...
I'm just in the process of doing the questionnaire right now. There are 5 answers in total, it's not timed and we must submit it before April 5th. The questions aren't that bad at all! Good luck to you all once again, lol.
Yes, you can complete part of the questionnaire as long as you save it and come back to it. However, just to be on the safe side, I'd copy and paste my answers on a word doc so if anything happens you can copy and paste it:)
