Figured I would start this thread since the Feb 1st date is coming up.

For those of you who are from Dallas, what areas are good (safe) to live in and not a far drive to BUMC? Thank you! ?

Near 75 and Walnut Hill Lane there are some great apartments. Not too far from BUMC but not too much in the city either.

There are tons of nice apartments in Uptown and it’s very close to BUMC, but they aren’t cheap. Oaklawn area (tollway and wycliff) have some nice places. Knox/Henderson area is a good area too! If you are wanting more cost effective you could go more north in the Richardson area off 75.

For those of you who have done your Employee Health Appointment, did you bring anything else with you besides your I-9 documents? I already emailed the other stuff.

I’m Gonna jump in here. For the employee heath appointment, are you guys wearing scrubs?.
I know we’re taking badge photos. But I didn’t remember them saying anything about what to wear.

I took everything that I had emailed to them along with my I9 docs just in case.
