Figured I would start this thread since the Feb 1st date is coming up.

Hi guys! I got a phone call today and have a live video interview set up for ICU in Temple on the 24th, is there anything I need to do to prepare for this? like have recommendation letters maybe? or does anyone have any suggestions about questions I should be prepared to answer?

I am so so nervous so any type of help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

They send you a link to do your references before your interview. I made portfolios with resume, cover letter, letters of rec, and certifications. But my interview was in person so I’m not sure if you’re able to email that to the interviewers so they can check it out? Anyways, be confident and be yourself. It’s such basic advice but it’s so true. At the end of the day they’re deciding if your personality is a good fit or not! Other than that just study behavioral questions! I looked at a lot of Youtube videos. You’ll do great, good luck!

about how many questions do they ask??

My interview was an hour long. I interviewed with the manager over all of the ICUs first, she asked 3 or 4 questions and we talked a bit. Then I went up to the unit and interviewed with the managers of the 2 ICUs that I was interested in. They asked maybe 5 or 6 questions and then we talked a bit about how orientation and training goes and got a tour.

do you think it will be a whole lot different for online interviews? since most of us will have to do them from now pn?

I would think the process would be mostly the same. They seemed to have a template of questions they go off of.

Do yall know what the start date is for the medicine unit?

Has anyone done one the live interviews yet? what is it like? I was told I would be interviewing with all of the ICUs at Temple so I am assuming it will be many people on the video asking questions

Thank you!

do you think it is okay to add more than 3 references? it says "at least" 3

so if I am interviewing for "all the ICUs at Temple", what ICUs fall under that?

I am an out of state applicant

I know the medical ICU, surgical ICU, and Cardiac ICU? is that all?

BUMC ED had interviews Wed-Fri this week, so I am guessing we will not hear back until next week, right? Or has anyone heard back yet?
