Figured I would start this thread since the Feb 1st date is coming up.

Oh yes! The app did just close less than a week ago... It would make sense that since there aren’t many openings in women’s, they wanted to wait till all apps were in.

It was fine! It's honestly not an interview, its just them wanting to get more specific information about you and the direction you want to go career-wise. It was maybe 10 minutes long, if that.

Oh cool. Good to know, thanks ☺️I’m sure you it wasn’t you, they just wanted to wait till they had more apps in to schedule interviews. Hope we hear back soon!!

Kind of an off topic question, but how long would you say is reasonable to hold off on accepting a job offer while waiting to hear from other interviews? Baylor is my top choice and I’ll be interviewing tomorrow but I was just offered three jobs at a different hospital today. I was shocked (I interviewed yesterday) and honest and told them I would like to wait but I don’t want to keep them on hold too long.

Hmmm I’m not sure. Did they give you a deadline as to when they want you to give them an answer?

Hey girl! Was Methodist Charlton’s IMC one of the units that offered you? I remember that because we had an interview on the same day/close to the same day, and was wondering if you had heard back yet!

No, I interview with them on Wednesday! The last day they gave me as an option to interview was the 25th but hopefully they don’t make us wait that long. How was the interview?

It all depends on the nurse manager! I had an offer in Austin two weeks ago and they gave me two weeks vs UTSW who offered but only gave a day. I ended accepting at BUMC CTTICU! But it just goes to show that it all depends

No deadline. They said they’d call me back next Friday but at this rate, I probably won’t know anything by then so I’m worried about that. I also don’t want to accept a position and then take it back especially since it isn’t one of these really big, corporate hospitals
