It was fine! It's honestly not an interview, its just them wanting to get more specific information about you and the direction you want to go career-wise. It was maybe 10 minutes long, if that.

Hi! I had a phone screen with the women's recruiter a month ago, but I haven't heard a single thing since. I bet they have a ton of applications to go through, and want give everyone a fair shot especially if they applied on the very last day the application was open! Trying to stay cautiously optimistic yet positive.

I really am not far from it, I currently am a mother/baby nurse, but I want to move back to DFW and I have always wanted to be a NICU nurse as my end goal, or to do my higher education in something NICU related. But we will see if that is in the cards for me! Just taking everything day by day, trying to be the best human being and nurse I can be. ?

I applied 2/7, but I have had my BSN for a year and a half and have been practicing as an RN just wanting to switch specialties... maybe they just want brand new nurses haha

I didn't receive a rejection email formally yet, but I logged on to my application account and it said they were pursuing other candidates for the Dallas NICU residency I applied to. At least they've started gradually going through things! haha

yes I do! Also my goal in these forums is not to make anyone feel discouraged about not having heard anything yet, I just want to update ya'll since we all are in this together! ❤️

@anr2017 my Dallas NICU app changed too. It went from "currently reviewing and processing" to "being actively considered" at some point today, because when I checked last night it was still the original status statement that appears after you submit it when you log in to view your applications.

my NICU-Plano still says "considering"

the coordinators said that they would start calling people with offers on March 21

There is going to be a table for you to sign-in at and then they will hand you a badge with your interview time(s) on the back and then the unit manager will come and get you. The residency coordinator people are there at the table to answer any questions.
