Baylor Scott and White Grad Nurse Residency - Summer 2020

Figured I would start this thread since the Feb 1st date is coming up.

Oh then you have nothing to worry about if you had rotations there! No they did not tell me when they would have an answer by, just said they have a few more interviews next week. I think it should be within the next few weeks though because Dennis made the impression they’re trying to wrap it up. I wonder how many people have interviewed?

shoot I have mine at bumc for the 12th for the MICU. Hopefully they will still be looking haha

I don’t even want to know LOL! All my friends who have gotten other internship offers elsewhere seemed to get a response within a week, so hopefully it’ll be quick!! I got that impression from Dennis as well. Seems like they don’t drag out interviews for too long.

My video interview was HORRIBLE. I accidentally submitted one on the first try and literally said, "Oh no, I messed up" and stared awkwardly at the screen. I meant to hit re-record and accidentally hit submit ? I thought I was for sure a lost cause but still got an interview! I felt my other answers were pretty solid so that may have helped. Best of luck to you!

Did anyone else have terrible signal during the phone follow up, and still got an in person interview? I had never had signal problems in the area of my health science center where I did my phone follow-up at, so it was a total surprise. I hope this did not affect anything! Hoping to get an email back from them ?

Glad to hear there’s hope. LOL I feel like I did alright but not AMAZING. I just felt really awkward and my mind blanked for one question. I managed to answer it but it wasn’t the BEST. Anyway, still waiting to hear back after I submitted my digital interview on 2/20. I’m worried it’s a lost cause at this point since it’s been a week and a half!

I thought my digital interview went well but I never received a phone follow up. It's been several weeks so I assume I'm no longer being considered.

Did anyone else apply for Labor and Delivery for Frisco, McKinney area? I haven’t heard back since my digital interview and wondering what the status is- If I should still be awaiting a response or not.

I had 10 days between video interview and an offer for a phone screen. Luckily my school schedule got a little crazy so I didn't have time to ruminate about it. There's always hope!

I did not apply for L&D, but was told that McKinney was not offering any GN residencies at this time. Not sure about Frisco. Can you reach out to the one of the recruiters? They would know for sure.

I did read one post that said that someone didn’t get a response for 3 weeks. I am hoping we are still in the running!
