Baylor Plan--Locating Hospitals

I am 100% certain that I would like to work the baylor staffing plan (work every weekend, get paid for FT).

As it is I work almost every weekend, full time, and I'm not too happy where I am. I'm a single mother and I'm tired of killing myself schlepping around, hiring sitters, dropping my son at my parents for the night.

Anyway-having said all that--short of calling all hospitals within a commutable distance, is there some way to find out who offers this?

Thanks in advance.

Try webpages on each area hospital's nursing employment page. At my hospital, weekend pay plans are Sat, Sun plus either Fri. or Mon. Baylor(if that is Sat or Sun only for full time pay) seems to come and go depending on how badly nurses are needed.

That's really true. I haven't heard of a true Baylor plan in my area in over a decade.

From what I've read, "Baylor" staffing is now more flexible in it's definition. And supposedly it's on the rise (I'm guessing factoring in what you refer to as a "weekend pay plan"?).

Either way, I'd be fine working fri/sat/sun or whatever. I just can't keep doing what I'm doing... :(

Kell..I 2nd looking on websites just to see if they have any weekend specific plans advertised. Even if its not in your specialty that would let you know which hospitals offer the plan.

In my area the majority of the hospitals offer SOME type of weekend plan. I've seen the work 2 days get paid for 40, and I've also seen just a premium pay (which about works out to the same $ as the prior plan) and you can work 2 days and be part time or work 3 and be full time (on the full time you could pick up either a 3rd weekend day or a day during the week for lesser pay per hr)
