Baylor FastBacc 2020

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi!

I was wondering if anyone had applied and/or been accepted yet for the Baylor FastBacc program beginning in May of 2020. If so, when did you hear back and how long did it take?

Hello all! Did any of you send the interviewer a "thank you" email? I was told that we'd hear back from our interview before Christmas, but still no luck on my end ? My interview was last Dec. 2nd.

Do you guys think I should email and follow up or give it another week until after New Year's Day? Sorry, am getting anxious! Hehe.

PS. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your family and loved ones!!!

Hi! I interviewed on Dec 17. My interviewer told me to expect to hear back around the end of January, however I was in contact with the admissions advisor and she told me she was hoping to send out admissions decisions by December 20th, but if not to expect to hear something the week of January 6th. I wouldn’t bother sending an email as the lady sending out decisions is out of office until January 6th. I responded to her email and got an automated message saying she would return to the office on the 6th. Hopefully this helped! Merry Christmas!

Hello everyone!

I’ll be applying today on December 27th and extremely nervous about it since my grades are not the greatest but I do meet the requirements to apply. I only have a:

Nursing GPA: 3.26 (still need to complete religion courses)

Science GPA: 3.13

HESI ENG: 86%

HESI MATH: 80%

would anyone else that has been accepted mind sharing their scores and gpa’s?

Hello @bharris16! Yes, that helped ? Thank you so much for your response. I am enrolled for 3 remaining classes in the Spring, and was hoping for a reply from Baylor before proceeding to pay tuition! The week of Jan. 6th would be perfect to hear back *fingers crossed* for all of us waiting to hear!

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas. Here's to a blessed New Year!

Does anyone know when and how long breaks are?

I know she said we get like 2.5 weeks for winter break because the other nursing class is getting pinned. So since they’re focused on that we get to chill for awhile. Sorry I wish I remembered more! But I do recall her stating don’t plan to do anything aug-dec b/c it’s the most hours and hardest semester of the program and your family and friends will see you in December when we have that break haha

Hi all!

has anyone that submitted their application in January heard back from admissions? I submitted mine Friday 1/3, and was curious what the timeline will look like for hearing back...
