Baylor FastBacc 2020

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi!

I was wondering if anyone had applied and/or been accepted yet for the Baylor FastBacc program beginning in May of 2020. If so, when did you hear back and how long did it take?

Hi all!

has anyone that submitted their application in January heard back from admissions? I submitted mine Friday 1/3, and was curious what the timeline will look like for hearing back...

Same!! Wondering how long it took for everyone else to hear a response.

Got My acceptance on 12/20/2019. I submitted on 11/1/2019. My GPA was 2.77 According to the overall calculation on nursingCAS for my entire GPA history. My HESI was a 94% for English and math.

Was just recently accepted to Baylor for the Fastbacc program starting May 2020 but still needing to complete Fed Gov, Bible-based Religion and Word Religion prereqs...(I know it's super last minute). Any suggestions on where I can take these online?

Thanks! Good luck to all!

Mclennan community college has the two religion courses, DCCCD has one of them but not the other. The Mclennan classes are $399, whereas DCCCD is $177/course!

Is there another application we are supposed to complete besides the NursingCAS application?

I applied on December 27th and just got the email to set up an interview today!

Good luck to everyone!

Thanks for the info!

I submitted my application on December 12, and had my interview on December 17th. Has anyone on a similar timeline heard anything yet?

Hello all!

Here is a short summary of my acceptance timeline:

  • 11/26/2019 - Application Submitted
  • 12/02/2019 - Skype Interview
  • 01/03/2020 - Acceptance Letter Received via email

I hope this helps all who've wondered, my fingers are crossed for you??

I was accepted as well! Does anyone know if Baylor typically gives out merit-based Scholarships? (not FAFSA)

They normally do, but I was told during an info session that the scholarships were close to non-existent for FastBacc Students.

Hey everyone!

I just graduated from Baylor this past May with my first bachelors and decided to do the 2020 fastbacc program. I’m familiar with the school (& Dallas bc I live here) if y’all have any questions about Baylor in general! I also have friends in the program, so I can ask them questions & share the answers on this thread as well! ?

My personal timeline and experience for an acceptance- Applied: 10/18, interviewed 10/25, & accepted 11/26 if that helps anyone. The interview was super relaxed and the professor was very friendly! They also respond to emails very quickly!
Is there already a Facebook group for all of us to connect?
