Baylor FastBacc 2020

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi!

I was wondering if anyone had applied and/or been accepted yet for the Baylor FastBacc program beginning in May of 2020. If so, when did you hear back and how long did it take?

Does anyone know anybody that has went through the program? She showed me the schedule it’s so much ! I was hoping someone who’s been in the program could give some pointers but if not we’ll see for ourselves I guess ?

Hi, Where did you see the schedule?

Hi @Steph Med! Congratulations on getting accepted into the program! I live in CA as well ? How long after your interview did you get your acceptance letter?

Thank you. I heard back about 2 weeks after I interviewed. Good-luck.

She showed me a calendar during my interview. But everything seems really planned out since the program has been going for awhile.

I Got the “thank you for your application” email Nov 13. But they didn’t get my HESI scores until Nov 14. So it wasn’t reviewed until then. A couple hours later on Nov 14 I got the email to set up my interview which I set for Nov 18 ?

And thank you!! I’m excited for everyone ! You’ll do great!

Does anyone know when the drug screening and background check is?

My letter said by February we will begin to receive emails from student services about FBI background check. I haven’t heard about drug testing I guess It’ll be around the same time

Mine said February for the FBI background check as well. Nothing about a drug screening, though.

I was accepted in November. I believe they take a more holistic approach towards admission. If your GPA is low, they will look at your clinical experience if any. The interview was with one of the professors. It was not bad at all, and more of a conversation about what to expect from the program. My coworker graduated last year. He said it's very tough, not necessarily the material but the pace. Expect to have zero social life and be poor for the entire year.

To the people who have ben accepted: did you receive an email notice or something in the mail?

I received an email!

Does anyone know when the first tuition payment is due?
