Baylor FastBacc 2020

Hi!

I was wondering if anyone had applied and/or been accepted yet for the Baylor FastBacc program beginning in May of 2020. If so, when did you hear back and how long did it take?

Hey I recently interviewed on Monday! I haven’t heard anything back yet. I was looking for a thread for this application as well and you’re the only one I’ve found!

Hi!

I'm finishing 2 more classes to have 33 of the 52 required prerequisite classes completed and will submit my application on December 12. One of my friends applied the week before Thanksgiving and heard back to schedule an interview just a couple of days later. I know that if you are qualified to apply, you receive an interview. Good luck everyone!

Congrats! What was the interview like?

The interview wasn’t bad at all. Questions that you’d expect; ( why do you want to be a nurse, why did you choose this program , study style etc.). I got accepted last week and I interviewed Nov 18. You’ll definitely be fine!! I was nervous but it went away when I saw how nice and laid back it was.

Congratulations!!! How long between the time you applied and when you heard back about getting an interview?

I Got the “thank you for your application” email Nov 13. But they didn’t get my HESI scores until Nov 14. So it wasn’t reviewed until then. A couple hours later on Nov 14 I got the email to set up my interview which I set for Nov 18 ?

Wow, that is so fast! That's awesome. I got a 94 on my HESI and my prereq gpa will be between a 3.65 and 3.8, however my science GPA will only be a 3.0 so I'm a bit nervous about that ? Hopefully all will be well!

My hesi was only a 90. And my prerequisites I’m unsure but probably 3.2-3.4 and My science was 3.75. Your scores sound very similar to other threads I looked at and they got accepted!

Hi, I got accepted last week! I’ll be moving from CA to Dallas.

The interview is not bad. I did mine via Skype.

I was accepted as well! Does anyone know if Baylor typically gives out merit-based scholarships? (not FAFSA)

I interview on Tuesday! Congrats to everyone whose been accepted thus far. Nervous for my interview because I don't know what to expect
