Anyone else waiting for an interview invitation? I have a friend in the program who said she thought they were sending out invitations either last week or this coming one. The anticipation is killing me!
what are you guys doing to prepare for your interviews? Do you mind if I ask a few more questions about Baylor? I'm from SC so I haven't been able to travel to Texas to go to one of their information meetings. From my understanding classes and clinicals are year-round and there's no summer break in between where students are able to work, is that right? I'm trying to save as much money as possible and taking overtime so I can live off my savings for 3 years!
How did y'all feel about the interview process? I thought it was incredibly well organized and Baylor is now my first choice school. I'm going to be biting my nails until Wednesday. ~38% of interviewees get in. I feel like I could get in, but those clinical questions... While I did not perform terribly, I did not perform as well as I would have liked.
I feel about the same as you do. While I don't think my interviews went poorly, I haven't talked to anyone who didn't feel "OK" about them overall. This selection is going to be close. It would be very difficult to be on the interviewing committee and have to pick 15 from the 39 interviewed. Everyone who interviewed was so capable! At this point, I feel fortunate to have been invited to Baylor.
I have not heard anything. I spoke to a second year who said the call came in the afternoon. I also spoke to a attendee at the interview process who thought Dr Walker said the calls would come in the afternoon. I doubt people who have been called will be anxious enough to come look here though :/. No telling. The anticipation is killing me.
