  1. what are you guys doing to prepare for your interviews? Do you mind if I ask a few more questions about Baylor? I'm from SC so I haven't been able to travel to Texas to go to one of their information meetings. From my understanding classes and clinicals are year-round and there's no summer break in between where students are able to work, is that right? I'm trying to save as much money as possible and taking overtime so I can live off my savings for 3 years!
  2. You guys have great stats! I'm wishing you both the best of luck!! :)
  3. Hi guys congrats on the interviews that's such a huge accomplishment!! I want a couple more years of ICU experience under my belt before I apply to crna school but Baylor has been my dream. Do you guys mind sharing your stats? Also, do you happen to know if you need orgo 1 and 2 with labs? I've only taken orgo 1 and I'm hoping that would be suffice.
  4. Hey guys! I graduated in December 2014 and accepted a new grad position in a Level IV NICU in this incredible northeast Children's Hospital. Although I love my coworkers and the environment, I don't LOVE the NICU. I just don't feel a passion for it. Initially my main interest was the CICU in the same Children's Hospital but I interviewed for the NICU first and the manager offered me the job immediately after my interview. I didn't know how to say no or how to say that I wanted to wait until after my CICU interview so I accepted. I feel terrible for accepting something I didn't truly love but I'm a new grad and not in any position to turn down a job. I want to do an internal transfer after a year to the CICU but I'm nervous about burning bridges with the NICU management. What do you guys think I should do?
