I was just wondering if there is anyone else applying for the 2014 spring program. It's my first time applying to a nursing school so I'm excited! My HESI is overall average 86% (not that great) and overall gpa 3.7, also I'd be considered a transfer student. Hope to hear from ya'll!
Hey guys as I've shared earlier, I have a 2 kids under the age of five. I am new to Dallas and do you guys know about a good public school district to live in ---for my kids-- and less than 10 miles from BAYLOR?
Dallas Public Schools - Dallas, TX | GreatSchools
This website is very helpful when trying to find good public schools. Although some people have lost faith in Dallas school districts, many schools in the district are still great! I know that Richardson also has many great schools pre-schools and elementary schools! By the way, if you ever need a babysitter, call me! haha
Hi Haleysexton, Thanks for the info. I also used this website to figure out the ratings, and booked an apartment at Richardson, the kids will go to Plano school district. Do u live around there? I am planning to use the Dart train from there (because saw reviews that the traffic will be very bad from Plano to Baylor and also unpredictable). I know it's 50 minutes from there. New to Dallas, will move end of December. So should try if it will work for me!!
I JUSTTTT got the bearweb and email set up. finally. I had to go through heck to actually GIVE them money Have any of you heard about your FAFSA? or the estimated cost youll have to pay? I added baylor to my form back in July, but I am not sure how to check it. I know we have to cancel any aid from the school we are at for spring. I guess I just want to be prepared for a number, since Baylor isnt cheap :)

I think everyone's estimated cost might be slightly different, but from what I understood from the financial aid advisor, tuition will be around $18,500 not including books (roughly $1500) and supplies. My semester is okay so far, I'm just ready for the spring semester to start! Lol
Not sure about the FAFSA ( I haven't applied since I don't qualify), but the estimated tuition cost will be available in our Bear web account on December 2nd and the due to payfor Spring semester is December 20th. I also inquired about the installment plan and they offer five installments.
He did email me back! I guess I put baylor on my fafsa too early and they didnt recognize me as a student yet.
Thanks guys!
Also, have you heard much about your transfer scholarship? - the one thats based on your GPA upon admission? I assume thatll go into effect after they receive our transcripts.
I am used to DCCCD tuition, the costs are bananas! But I am ready to get started in January and meet everyone!!!!

Hi Baylorlove,
Well I haven't heard anything from Baylor yet. But if you login to your bearweb account, under registration it shows the time u'll be eligible to register. For me it says that I don't have any holds and am eligible to register after November 20th.
